The deal. Round 1 deals one card each, round 2 deals two — up to {{ ruleMax }}, then back down to one. {{ ruleRounds }} rounds in all.
Trumps. The trump suit rotates ♠ ♥ ♦ ♣, then a no-trump round, and repeats.
Bidding. Each player bids exactly how many tricks they will take. The dealer bids last and may not bring the total bids level with the cards dealt — someone must always be wrong.
Play. Follow the led suit if you can. The highest trump wins the trick, otherwise the highest card of the led suit. The winner leads next.
Scoring. {{ ruleScoring }}
The table. Each game seats three players from a household of twenty, and they are not equally good. Some play by feel, some by the book — and a few (Morse, GLaDOS, Grandmama) count every card and see deep into the deal. Elsa is a cat.
